17 May marks the last day of my poly life in tp. I woke up at 0630 feeling all nervous and weird for the graduation ceremony later that day. Haha, we were there pretty late and i was rushing like a mad woman finding the correct place to register for my mom and myself. Everyone was already in their grad gown when i reached the venue, which obviously made me more nervous what worst was i cant find any of my friends because they were already in the hall, hahaha.
Then came the time when i had to go up the stage to receive my diploma, well it was such a surreal moment, it happened so quickly there wasn't time for me to feel nervous of falling down in my heels or does my walk looked funny, hahahahaha.
3 years of education in temasek poly made me so many friends who i know will last a life time. Friends who stand by my side throughout the tough times, the happy times, stressful project deadlines. We went through our personal conflicts as friends too, it only made our friendship stronger and made us understand each other better through those conflicts. My favorite people in poly are none other than the #favoritekids, hahahaha. Thankful that we became closer through the ccn haunted house and the rest are.... history.
Not forgetting the girls who stand by me ever since year 1 to year 3 in poly or rather every single day of my life these 3 years, michelle, chingyi and jocelyn. You guys are the best, you guys are the ones who will give me the best advices (e.g. My super huge crush in year 2, epic HAHAHAH), best support and love from the bottom of the heart. We are not the type who will express our love to one another but you guys know it, i love each and everyone of you so much.
Year 2 was rather awkward for me because i wasnt really close with most of the #favoritekids yet. This was when yiinshin came into the picture, I wasnt really sure how come we became close hahaha. We talked about practically everything and the support and love you showered me throughout the 'hugh crush in year 2' period and always making sure i'm okay. Even though we are not as close as before you will still be the sister figure i will always look up to, and i know you will be there whenever i needed you.
Lastly, this is for you. (I wrote a whole paragraph but decided to take it off eventually.)
I'm not the type of person who will openly express my love and concern to people face to face because it's awkward and weird for me. So this is it. Happy graduation guys, and even though we are all choosing different paths in our life, we will all do well, we will be good.
